The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday paid a courtesy call on former President Olusegun Obasanjo in his home in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The visit attracted hundreds of supporters of the party in Ogun State to the ex-president’s residence.
Although the purpose of Tinubu’s visit to Obasanjo’s home could not be immediately established, it is believed to be in connection with his 2023 presidential ambition.
Tinubu was said to have arrived at the residence in his helicopter a few minutes past 1 pm accompanied by some party leaders.
The former Lagos governor was received Governor Dapo Abiodun and former Governors Gbenga Daniel and Segun Osoba, as well as other Ogun State government functionaries.
