Popular musician, Paul Okoye aka Kingrudy says youths across Africa are taking back their country, causing a “heavy wave of change in leadership” across the continent.
He said this in a Tuesday tweet in reaction to the election of Kenyan President-elect, William Ruto.
Kindrudy also hailed the election of Hakainde Hichilema, who emerged President of Zambia in August 2021, after losing the 2006, 2008, 2011, 2015 and 2016 elections.
“There’s a heavy wave of change in leadership across Africa… young people are taking back their country first. It was Zambia, now Kenya… which country is next? And they say it’s just social media,” Kingrudy said.
