American rapper, Raqhid Jevon Render popularly known as Lil Keed has died aged 24.
His brother and fellow artiste, Semaja Render aka Lil Gotit confirmed his death in an Instagram post today.
Lil Gotit, while sharing a photo of himself and brother, expressed shock at his demise.
He promised to take care of their mother and others Lil Keed left behind.
“I can’t believe I seen you die today bro. I did all my cries. I know what you want me to do and that’s go hard for Mama, Daddy, our brothers, Naychur and Whiteboy #ImaHoldthisShitDown,” Lil Gotit wrote.
The Atlanta, Georgia-born rapper left behind a daughter, Naychur.
Signed to Young Thug’s record label YSL Records, as well as 300 Entertainment, Lil Keed released a number of albums, singles, and mixtapes.
His song “Nameless” reached number 42 on the Billboard Hip Hop/R&B Songs Airplay chart.
