A 44-year-old woman, Bosede Abiola, on Friday appeared in an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan for allegedly harming another woman with her cell phone.
Abiola, whose residential address was not provided, was charged with assault, occasioning harm.
The Prosecutor, Sgt. Philip Amusan, told the court that Abiola committed the offence on March 23, at about 10. 30 p.m at Abanla, Idi-Ayunre Ibadan.
Amusan said the defendant allegedly injured one Risikat Oladejo, using her Itel cell phone, which caused her injury on the right side of her face.

He said the offence contravened Section 355 of the criminal laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The defendant however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Magistrate Abimbola Amole-Ajimoti granted the defendant bail in the sum of N20, 000 and one surety in like sum, who must be residing in Ibadan.
She adjourned the case until May 26, for hearing
