Bruce Willis’ family has announced that the iconic actor will be retiring from acting.

This came after he was diagnosed with aphasia, a language disorder caused by brain damage that affects a person’s ability to communicate.

Bruce Willis, is the  star of the “Die Hard” franchise, who largely featured in action and thriller films.

He starred in movies like Armageddon, The Sixth Sense, Moonrise Kingdom, Looper, Glass, Pulp Fiction and the his most famous work in the Die Hard series.

He rose to fame following his role in the 1980s comedy-drama TV series “Moonlighting,” and has gone ahead to Starr in about 100 films across his four-decade career, winning a Golden Globe Award and two Emmys.

On Wednesday, March 30, Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma Heming Willis, took to Instagram to announce her husband’s retirement from acting.

The announcement was described as a collective statement from Heming Willis and Willis’ first wife, Demi Moore, and all of his children.

The statement was made via an Instagram post, capturing the thoughts of the family.

With no doubt Willis will be leaving behind, an incredible and impactful body of work for his fans across the globe to enjoy and remember him by.
