Coach of Tunisia, Mondher Kebaier has explained how his wards overcame the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) round of 16 encounter on Sunday night.
A 47th-minute goal from Youssef Msakni was all the Tunisians needed to clinch the victory.
Before the game, Austin Eguavoen’s side were tagged favourites after winning all three games in the group stage of the tournament, the only side to do so.
During the post-match conference on Sunday, Kebaier said that his side were able to win the game after neutralising the threat from the Super Eagles wingers whom he termed “dangerous”.
“Today we came up with tactics to put pressure on the Nigerian wingers because they are very dangerous. And we also know they have difficulties when they lose the ball,” Kebaier said.
