Police recruitment: PSC commences medical screening for applicants Nov. 22

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has fixed Nov. 22 for medical screening of successful applicants, who sat for aptitude test in the ongoing recruitment of Constables into the Nigeria Police.

A statement by the Commission’s Head of Press and Public Relations, Mr Ikechukwu Ani, on Friday in Abuja, said the medical screening would hold in the 17 Zonal headquarters of the Nigeria Police.

Ani said the successful applicants would be contacted and directed on when to come for the screening.

He said the decision was reached during a joint meeting of the commission and a delegation from the Nigeria Police, led by Mr Danmallam Muhammed, the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) in charge of Training.

Ani said the meeting also witnessed the submission of report and result of the aptitude tests held on Oct. 29 and Oct. 30 across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.

He said the report was received by the Permanent Secretary of the commission, Mr William Alo.

Ani said a total of 74,058 applicants sat for the aptitude tests across the country, consisting 62,588 males and 11,470 females. (NAN)
