Liverpool FC via it’s official website confirmed the signing of Italian striker Mario Balotelli in a news headline that read “Liverpool can confirm they have completed the signing of Italy striker Mario Balotelli, subject to registration.”
‘Super Mario’ was signed from Ac Milan by Liverpool after he passed a medical for an undisclosed fee but speculated around £16m.
The 24-year-old also wrote via his twitter hande (@FinallyMario) “YNWA! COME ON LIVERPOOL! “
Balotelli said: “I’m very happy. We’ve been talking about coming here and now I’m happy to be here.
“Liverpool are one of the best teams here in England and the football is very good here.
Reports on Liverpool FC twitter handle announced that the Italian will wear the No. 45 shirt for The Reds.
Mirror.co.uk also reported that he has touched down “Etihad tonight to see his new team-mates take on his old Manchester City chums”
Balotelli is Liverpool’s 9th signing of the summer.
