Veteran Nollywood actor, Victor Olaotan has died after battling ill-health for six years.
The veteran actor suffered a brain injury following an October 2016 road crash.
He had been initially flown abroad but returned to Nigeria as the family could no longer foot the medical bills.
He died on Thursday, his wife, Julia, announced.
“He has tried. It is not easy to be trapped in your own body for five years. He can finally rest now,” the widow wrote.
Olaotan, 69, became a household name for his role in Tinsel.
His death occurred the same day that funeral rites for departed colleague, Rachel Oniga commenced.
