Former presidential aide, Dr Doyin Okupe has said that he fitted the description of Nigeria’s next president as explained by former Military President, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB) in a recent interview.
Recall that in last Friday’s viral interview with Arise News, IBB said that, for the 2023 presidency, Nigerians should look towards an individual in his sixties, who believes in the nation’s unity and who has friends across the nation.
Okupe, who appeared on the same station a week later, said, “I believe when IBB was making that speech, he was talking about me. I haven’t spoken with him in a long time, I agree with all his points.
“I am part of the three individuals IBB was talking about. I am the most prepared person for the job.
“There is nowhere in the country I don’t have contact,” Okupe said.
