Despite heavily-armed security operatives cordoning off the area, the environs of the Federal High Court, Abuja witnessed an in-flock of members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) who wanted to witness the trial of the group’s leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
Kanu, who is in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS), is due in court today for the continuation of his trial on treason-related charges before Justice Binta Nyako.
However, the security operatives faced-off with the IPOB members outside the court to prevent them from gaining access to the premises.
