“A new date will be announced in due course,” the statement read.
Adesina had said in a Thursday statement that Buhari would leave Nigeria today and return “during the second week of July, 2021”.
Buhari is a frequent visitor to the UK for medical reasons.
He returned from the last medical trip in April.
However, the visits usually attract severe criticism due to the state of the health facilities in the country.
