Chrissy Teigen has quit Netflix’s comedy, ‘Never Have I Ever’ barely a month after she admitted bullying Courtney Stodden ten years ago.
Teigen, who apologised to Stodden in May, was due to be cast in a guest voiceover role for one episode of the show but walked away, a spokesperson for the show confirmed.
The spokesperson said the role would be recast.
Stodden had said she faced bullying from Teigen and other celebrities including Joy Behar and Courtney Love when she was a teenager.
She said Teigen told her to take her own life.
“She wouldn’t just publicly tweet about wanting me to take ‘a dirt nap’ but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself. Things like, ‘I can’t wait for you to die,’” Stodden said.
Stodden came to limelight in 2011 after marrying 50-year-old actor Doug Hutchison when she was only 16.
