Manchester United is out to negotiate with Sporting Lisbon to sign a four-year contract with Argentina World cup star Marcos Rojo. United is offering 16 Million euros as well as Portuguese winger Nani to Sporting which was where he came through to Old Trafford in 2007.0
Louis Van Gaal is out in the market for a left-sided defender to bolster his 3-5-2 formation and possibly solve Man U defensive crisis, and he is ready to part away with long time Man U forward Nani to achieve this. Nani who has not been consistent at United, is unwilling to make the deal but have to consider building a better future at S.Lisbon as conditions are not so favorable for him at Old Trafford.
On the other hand Rojo is willing to make the move to MAN U saying “it feels like a dream, to be a Manchester United player. Leaving Sporting wasn’t easy.”
“I’ll be back with the rest of the squad tomorrow,” he said “Sporting signed me when I was not at my best and gave me the opportunity to play for a big club in Europe. I would like to thank the trust they had in me and resume training.”
Frustrated Louis Van Gaal needs to sign Marcos as soon as possible and fix things following a 2-1 defeat against Swansea on the opening day of EPL, given that Rojo can effectively handle the left-back position as well as the center-back.
