Chelsea snatched a stoppage-time victory against Manchester City in the English Premier League with a 2-1 victory at the Etihad on Saturday evening.
A goal from Marcos Alonso in the second minute of added time was enough to ensure the visitors snatched a vital victory in the race for top-four finish.
The loss also delayed City’s EPL title celebration by a further week, no thanks to an awful Panenka penalty by Sergio Aguero.
The 32-year-old Argentine chipped the penalty into the arms of Edouard Mendy after Billy Gilmour had fouled Gabriel Jesus.
Hakim Ziyech, who also scored the goal that ended Pep Guardiola’s side’s Quadruple hopes in the FA Cup semi-final in April, scored in the 63rd minute to cancel Raheem Sterling’s 44th-minute strike.
Sterling had taken the ball off the toes of Sergio Aguero to score his first league goal since February 21.
Chelsea and Manchester City will face off again in the UEFA Champions League final on May 29.
