Former Governor of Kano State, Ibrahim Shekarau, recently declared that he has a perfect relationship with the state’s former and present Governors, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, and Abdullahi Ganduje respectively.
Shekarau disclosed this during a media briefing in Kano on Sunday.
“I want to assure you that our relationship has since remained cordial, even up to now. So, there is no problem between us,” Shekarau pointed out.
“I and Ganduje have been together for so many years. When I was the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Office then, he was a commissioner, and we used to interact a lot.

“The same thing applies to Kwankwaso; we have a good relationship. Our political differences have not, and will not, affect our relationship. I have never defected from one party to another because of him,” the ex Governor assured.
Shekarau is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who is currently serving in the 9th National Assembly as Senator representing Kano Central.
