A hundred passengers that flew into Nigeria but failed to undergo the mandatory COVID-19 test have had their details revealed by the Federal Government.
According to a tweet from the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, non-compliance with the testing directive issued by the task force necessitated the publication of the defaulters’ details.
“The PTF has placed travel restrictions on the first 100 passengers for non-compliance to the mandatory Day 7 post-arrival COVID-19 test,” the Saturday tweet read.
It stated that the 100 defaulters would not be able to travel out of Nigeria for six months.
The restriction period was from January 1, 2021, to June 30, 2021.
Chairman of the PTF and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha had earlier in the week revealed that the details of the affected passengers would be revealed latest weekend.
