Ronaldo reacts after scoring brace as Juve thrash Barcelona

Juventus players celebrate in the dressing room after thrashing Barcelona

Cristiano Ronaldo grabbed a brace to help Juventus thrash Barcelona in the last Group H encounter in the 2020/2021 UEFA Champions League.

The 35-year-old scored a penalty on either side of the half to cement a 0-3 win at Camp Nou, his first time of scoring against the Spanish giants in six UCL encounters.

He missed out on the first-leg encounter in Turin due to COVID-19, and Ronald Koeman’s side ran away with a 0-2 victory.

Ronaldo, who was with Real Madrid for nine years, failed to score over two legs when his side met Barcelona in the 2010/11 season.

As a Manchester United player in the 2007/08 and 2008/09 seasons, he played against the Blaugrana three times and failed to find the back of the net.

Taking to Twitter after Tuesday night’s game, Ronaldo wrote, “Always great to return to Spain and to Catalunya, always hard to play in Camp Nou against one of the best teams I ever faced.

“Today we were a team of Champions! A true, strong and united family! Playing like this, we have nothing to fear until the end of the season… Let’s go!”

He now has four UCL goals this season after finding the back of the net against Ferencvaros and Dynamo Kiev.
