American rapper, Lil Wayne has given new insight into when No Ceilings 3, the fresh installation of his mixtape series, will be released.
Complex revealed that the long-awaited Mixtape Wayne will be released this week, precisely November 27.
Lil Wayne, who is 38 years old and has an estimated net worth of $150 million, revealed that the mixtape would be released on DatPiff.
He said, “The mixtape game seemed to be a dying art and since I’m one of the pioneers of the craft, and it played such a big part in my career, I felt it was only right to resurrect it.”
He added, “Also, it’s a lot of songs out here; I wanted to kill my way!”
DJ Khaled hosts the mixtape and had a preview of it on Wednesday, sharing a clip liked by thousands of fans on Instagram.
Regarded as one of the most influential hip hop artistes of his generation, Lil Wayne has sold over 120 million records worldwide, including more than 15 million albums and 37 million digital tracks in the United States, making him one of the world’s best-selling music artistes.
Lil Wayne’s real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.
