Senator Danjuma La’ah, representing Southern Kaduna Senatorial District at the National Assembly on Monday commissioned a free medical outreach for his constituents.
Speaking at the commissioning in Kafanchan, La’ah said that the gesture was borne out of the need to look after the well being of his people.
“I have to show concern towards the health of my people because many of them are going through hard times.
“I decided to embark on this outreach because they say health is wealth. My people deserve to enjoy good health and I will always do my best to ensure that,’’ he added.

He said that people would be tested and treated for HIV, malaria, typhoid and other common ailments.
“The people from the National Action Committee on Aids are here to test people for HIV, so they know their status,’’ he said.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria commended the lawmaker for making healthcare a priority.
They called on other eminent sons and daughters of Southern Kaduna to emulate the senator and reach out to the downtrodden.
