Late Second-Republic Governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Balarabe Musa has been buried according to Islamic rites.
Musa was buried Wednesday afternoon at the Isa Kaita Road Cemetery, Unguwan Sarki in Kaduna.
Senator for Kaduna Central in the 8th Senate, Shehu Sani confirmed this in a tweet.
He wrote, “The late Alhaji Balarabe Musa has just being buried at the Isa Kaita Road Cemetery, Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna.
“May Allah forgive his soul and grant him eternal rest. Amin.”

Musa died aged 84 early Wednesday, his daughter, Zulai confirmed.
Since the announcement, prominent Nigerians have continued to pay him tributes.
President Muhammadu Buhari highlighted the late politician’s populist ideology by describing him as a “voice for the voiceless”.
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar also described him as a “leading light in the struggle for democratic rule”.
“Balarabe Musa was a leading light in the struggle for democratic rule, and he will be remembered for the heroic role he played in putting a stop to military rule and restoring democratic governance in the country.
“Indeed, he died in active service for democracy,” Atiku tweeted.
