Chicago rapper, King Von has died at the age of 26 after being gunned down near a club in Atlanta on Friday, November 6.
According to TMZ, a fight between two groups of men outside the Monaco Hookah Lounge in downtown Atlanta escalated to shots being fired.
Reporters Chelsea Prince and John Spink noted that “several others” were injured. TMZ put the number of people shot at 6. One person was said to have been struck by a vehicle when the crowd outside the Monaco Hookah Lounge started to scatter.
King Von’s death was confirmed by his best friend and producer, DJ On Da Beat on Instagram.

He wrote: “My heart can’t take this. No bro. Why you. Why bro. Please just FaceTime me bro. Why they had to take you. Ima see you again this shit ain’t over. It’s far from over. We still just getting started. RIP my Bestfriend,

King Von’s manager was also at the scene of the shooting, luckily he survived after being shot.
