Popular Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji has said that Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State acted like a dictator by banning all protests in the state.
She stated this in a tweet in reaction to the Rivers State Government statement prohibiting EndSARS protesters from demonstrating in the state on Tuesday.
The statement released Monday night attracted a huge backlash on social media.
EndSARS protesters also defied the order, which many described as illegal, and stormed the state capital, Port Harcourt for a peaceful protest.

Reacting to the statement, Nnaji poked fun at Governor Nyesom Wike’s mustache, saying it portrayed him as a dictator.
She urged him to be sympathetic towards the youths that have been at the receiving end of harassment by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
“Your mustache says it all. You could have chosen to be any kind of leader you wanted. You chose to be a dictator. Do you have children? That’s a shame. LEADERS WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE for every loss of innocent life in their State. #ENDSARSOPPRESSION #EndSarsNow,” she tweeted.
