Google launched its $699 pixel 5 and pixel 4A 5G on Wednesday, 30th of September. Googles’ first 5G enabled smartphones.

This comes a little late as other Android phone makers, including Samsung, LG, and Motorola, have introduced 5G phones over the past year and a half. Apple’s upcoming iPhone 12 series expected to be 5G enabled also.
The new google pixel 5 comes with a 6” display screen and a hole-punch selfie camera. Seems like Google is finally paying attention to aesthetics. Google is calling out a few things that separate the Pixel 5 from the newly announced Pixel 4A, including IPX8 water resistance, reverse wireless charging, more RAM, and a stronger Corning Gorilla Glass 6 panel. Notably, it lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, though, something its cheaper siblings offer. The Pixel 5 comes with a release price of $699.
