Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Dr. Obadiah Mailafia, must subject himself to police investigation, a High Court sitting in Jos said Tuesday.
The court dismissed an application filed by the economist-cum-politician seeking an injunction to stop the police from investigating him.
Mailafia had filed the application after the police invited him to the Force Headquarters in Abuja in August over a controversial radio interview in which he claimed that a sitting Northern governor is the Commander of Boko Haram.
