United States President, Donald Trump has been nominated for another Nobel Peace Prize award for the second time within seven days. According to the Nobel website, there are 318 candidates nominated for the 2020 Peace Prize.

This time, Trump was nominated for the prestigious award for presiding over a peace deal between Serbia and the republic of Kosovo.

According to the Washington Post, the nomination was announced on Friday by a member of the Swedish Parliament, Magnus Jacobsson. The lawmaker stated that he was jointly nominating Donald Trump, Serbia and Kosovo for their joint cooperation towards peace and economic development.

The Nobel nomination for Trump comes on the heel of an earlier nomination on Wednesday by a member of the Norwegian Parliament, Christian Tybring0Gjedde for his role in brokering peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

According to the Norwegian, Donald Trump has done more for world peace than other peace prize nominees.

The US President hosted the leaders of Kosovo and Serbia at the White House last Friday, where a landmark economic normalization agreement was signed. Kosovo and Serbia split in 2008 following a bloody genocidal war waged by strongman Slobodan Milosevic which killed at least 10,000 Albanian Muslims.

Also on Friday, the US President announced another historic peace deal between Israel and the Gulf Kingdom of Bahrain, bringing further peace to the Middle East.

Despite suggestions by the main stream media that he would spark a global war, Donald Trump has managed to establish himself as one of the few US Presidents who did not start a global conflict or get involved in one while in office since his inauguration in 2016.
