The Rivers State Police Command have arrested a 10 year old boy accused of witchcraft after a family accused him of jumping into their room in the form of a cat and then transforming into a human being.
The incident occurred at the Iwofe, Rumuolumeni in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the State, and the family first attempted to lynch the boy but he pleaded with them and named a 48 year old man as his accomplice in the spooky affair.

The Iwofe Divisional Police Headquarters has arrested the boy and the 48-year-old man. When contacted, a senior police officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said: “Actually, two people have been arrested in connection to witchcraft activity.”
But he declined to give further information on the issue, insisting that it is only the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, that is empowered to do so.
Contacted, the Rivers Police Command spokesperson , ASP Grace Koko, said she was yet to be briefed on the issue.
