#BlackLivesMatter: Jacob Blake to Face Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Charges

4 Min Read

While protests in Kenosha turned violent over the police shooting of Jacob Blake, many did not know why he was being arrested in the first place or that he was being arrested on charges of domestic violence and sexual assault against his own fiancée.

The world watched in horror as the 26 year old was shot in the back seven times by white police officers who were scared he was trying to grab a weapon from his car.

It turns out that Blake had been resisting arrest after violating a restraining order handed down as a result of a sexual assault charge.

Jacob Blake had allegedly sexually assaulted a lady on May 3 and was forbidden from going to the home of his victim in Kenosha. Before the shooting occurred, police officers responded to a 911 call saying Blake was in the house and threatening his victim again.

According to dispatch records, police officers responding to the 911 call were made aware that there was an open warrant for the arrest of the black American for felony sexual assault. A fact corroborated in a Friday statement by the Kenosha Professional Police Association.

A statement released by Blake’s lawyer, Benjamin Crump revealed that although the 26 year old has been paralyzed as a result of the shooting, he is still facing criminal charges bordering on sexual assault.

Blake is being accused of breaking into the home of a lady friend and assaulting her sexually.

Blake is accused in the criminal complaint, which was obtained by The Post, of breaking into the home of a woman he knew and sexually assaulting her.

The police complained to police that she was asleep alongside her child when the accused came into the room and demanded for sex saying, “I want my sh-t.” he thereafter proceeded to stick his fingers into her privates, sniffed it and said, “Smells like you’ve been with other men.”

The victim said Blake penetrating her with his fingers without her consent caused her pain and humiliation. She stated that she was very humiliated and upset by the incident.

She told police further that when she recovered, she ran after Blake and discovered that her car was gone and her keys were missing from her purse. She thereafter called 911, which eventually led to the shooting.

The criminal complaint record shows the victim saying she has known him for eight years and he often assaults her physically when he drinks heavily.

Following the criminal complaint, police filed charges against Blake for felony sexual assault, trespassing and domestic abuse in July and issued a warrant for his arrest.

The shooting of Blake in the back by police officers after he resisted arrest, has sparked black lives matter protests and rioting in Kenosha and Portland. Businesses have been burned while there has been widespread looting. At least three people have been killed in the protests which the Republicans have dubbed #BidenRiots and the Democrats #TrumpRiots.
