Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church Worldwide has stated that he is not moved by criticisms over his stance on the re-opening of churches and the recently signed Companies and Allied Matters Acts, 2020 (CAMA).
The Bishop came under attack from loyalists to the Presidency when he criticized the part of the CAMA act which allows the Federal Government to interfere in the affairs of churches and other religious houses.

According to Bishop Oyedepo, his critics were wasting their time because nobody has the power to limit the number of people who choose to worship God.
The Bishop made his views known on Tuesday during a sermon shared on the social media platform of Winners Chapel.
He said, “Anybody insulting me is wasting his time. One, I didn’t hear. Two, even if I heard, it won’t pain me. Nobody has the power to determine how many people worship Jesus. No force on earth has the power. So, get all the facilities ready.
The devil is tired. As of last night, we got the report of 520 of our new churches planted on August 16. No policy under heaven can stop it. If I were the devil, I will start mourning now. Shame on the devil.”
