Juventus have sacked manager, Maurizio Sarri, hours after crashing out of the UEFA Champions League on Friday night.
The Old Lady beat French side Olympique Lyonnais 2-1 on Friday night courtesy of two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo but crashed out on away-goal rule.
Reports say the Bianconeri hierarchy held a meeting Saturday morning to consider the 61-year-old’s future at the club after the disappointing outing and decided to sack him.
The club confirmed Sarri’s sack in a Saturday afternoon tweet.

Despite helping the club to the ninth straight Series A title, Sarri has struggled to convince fans and club management of his long-term suitability for the job, especially as they long for a first UCL title since their 1996 victory.
The former Napoli and Chelsea manager himself admitted his frustration at his wards’ slowness at grasping his trademark Sarriball,ย essentially a fast-paced, possession-based style of attacking football often likened to aย vertical tiki-taka.
Potential replacements include Lazio’s Simone Inzaghi, Real Madrid’s Zinedine Zidane and out-of-job Mauricio Pochettino.
