A 42-year-old man, Christian Obi, was on Friday arraigned for allegedly being in unlawful possession of 80 pieces of already sewed army camouflage uniforms.

The defendant, who pleaded not guilty, was brought on a charge of unlawful possession before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.
Police prosecutor, Insp. Doney Raphel, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on July 5, along Olojo Drive, Ojo.
He alleged that defendant was found in possession of 80 pieces of already sewed army camouflage uniforms and that when asked why he was with them, he could not give a convincing response.
According to the prosecutor, the offence contravenes Section 330(d) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The Chief Magistrate, Mrs O.G. Oghre admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties each in like sum.
She, then adjourned the case until Aug. 24 for mention.
