Law Firm Reveals Bill Cosby Still Owes Over $2.75m In Legal Fees

2 Min Read

A law firm has revealed that disgraced comedian, Bill Cosby is yet to pay over $2.75m in legal bills that a judge ordered him to pay last year.

Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, of Los Angeles said that Bill Cosby is yet to pay them after being ordered to do so by a Judge in September last year.

Due to a delay in payment, a 10 percent interest has been added to the money, summing up to $2.98 million.

Cosby, 82, is serving a three to ten year sentence after a jury found him guilty of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in 2004.

Last month, a judge ruled that Cosby can appeal his 2018 sexual assault conviction.

Meanwhile, Dr Ayuba Musa, the landlord of the property housing the company, GLAM’D Africa, has dismissed Mr Jackson Ude’s claims concerning the ownership of the house.

Musa’s reaction was sequel to a social media post by Ude, a New York based blogger, that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s daughter, Kiki, owns the property which houses her company, GLAM’D Africa.

The landlord, in a disclaimer he signed on Friday in Abuja, said the property was never, at any point in time, sold to the Vice President’s daughter or to anyone.

Musa said that he remained the rightful owner of the property and that all documents on the house were still carrying his name and challenged anyone in doubt to check with the FCT authorities.
