Bandits, herdsmen turned Abuja-Kaduna journey to suicide mission – Reno Omokri

Omokri

A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, says bandits and herdsmen have turned a journey on the Abuja-Kaduna expressway to a suicide mission.

He stated this while lamenting the security challenges under President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

Omokri, who was Special Assistant to President Jonathan on New Media, disclosed that insecurity under the previous administration was limited to the North-East.

However, he said that it has since ballooned to cover the entire north under Buhari.

In the same vein, the ex-presidential aide stated that Jonathan built many schools in the North while Buhari built “cemeteries”.

Omokri, a strong critic of the present administration, said, “Former President Jonathan built 165 almajiri schools and 9 new universities in Northern Nigeria.

“General Buhari on the other hand has built new cemeteries for the burial of Northerners killed by hunger, Boko Haram, bandits, and herdsmen.

“One came to build. The other came to bury! I am not joking.

“Under Jonathan, the Northeast was insecure. Under Buhari, the entire North is insecure. Driving from Kaduna to Abuja is suicide. If herdsmen don’t kill you, bandits will. If bandits don’t kill you, kidnappers will. If kidnappers don’t kill you, bad roads will!”
