Embattled music star, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo aka D’banj has urged Nigerians to give him the benefit of the doubt over a rape allegation levelled against him by a lady, Seyitan Babatayo.
He said that Nigerians should respect his human rights by not persecuting him on social media.
D’banj made the appeal in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Monday.
The music star maintained that since the law presumes him innocent until proven guilty, the social media trial amounted to a violation of his human right.
