The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 13 vessels laden with petrol, diesel, frozen fish and other items are being expected at the Delta ports.

The NPA made the disclosure in it’s daily publication, ‘Shipping Position’ a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Warri.
The ports authority listed some of the vessels to include: MV Frio Nereus, MT Tornado, Matrix Asa, MT Ilhaam, Orchard and Ihem, among others.
“Thirteen ships conveying petrol, diesel, general cargo and others are being expected at the Delta ports.
“NPA made declaration on MT Ozichukwu vessel laden with crude oil,” the authority stated.
It also said that MT San Biagio conveying 3,700 metric tonnes of bitumen was waiting at Fairway Bouy to discharge the product.
The authority stated further that three vessels: MV Kapetan Sideris, RS Pioneer and MT Igbinosa were awaiting anchorage.
“While RS Pioneer is waiting at the Koko/Midstream to load Containers, MT Igbinosa is waiting at the Escravos to load 12,000 metric tonnes of crude oil.
“Also, MV Kapetan Sideris is waiting at Bennett to discharge 13,400 metric tonnes of wheat,” it stated.
