President Muhammadu Buhari has read the riot act to Bandits operating in Katsina state to surrender or be killed. President Buhari issued this warning through his presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu during a meeting with Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina state.
Buhari expressed his condolences for the loss of life in recent attacks in the state.

The latest attacks led to the deaths of the district head of Yantumaki, Abu Atiku in Danmusa Local government area as well as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdulhamid Sani in Batsari local government area of the state.
President Buhari insisted that bandits who have committed crimes against innocent citizens in the country will not go unpunished because the army is carrying out decisive military actions against the criminals in Zamfara, Sokoto, Niger, Katsina and Katsina States.
Governor Masari announced on Tuesday that Katsina State had pulled out of a peace deal with the bandits stating that they had not upheld their own end of the bargain by carrying attacks against innocent civilians in the state.
He said the actions of the bandits amounted to a breach of trust with his administration which is doing everything to ensure peaceful coexistence in Katsina state.
