An American evangelist and pastor, Rodney Howard-Browne has expressed doubt over the existence of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) following protests in which thousands gathered to demand an end to racial discrimination.
The protests commenced after a white police officer, Derek Chauvin knelt on the neck of black man, George Floyd until he died in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 25.
Sharing a video of a group of protesters, Howard-Browne wondered why they were allowed to break social and physical distancing guidelines when in-person church services have been suspended for weeks in many cities across the nation.
The nearly two-week protests were expected to cause an exponentially increase in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases and fatalities in the nation but rather the numbers have been inexplicably decreasing.
According to Howard-Browne, the virus and stringent measures adopted to combat it were no more than a political scam.
The pastor of River Church in Tampa Bay, Florida further described the measures as an attack on the “Body of Christ”.

“Let me think about this: churches cannot meet however protests, riots, looting?
“America you are being played!”
