Madagascar Accuse WHO of Attempting to Poison Its COVID-19 Cure

2 Min Read

The President of Madagascar has accused the World Health Organisation (WHO) of attempting to poison it’s home grown COVID-19 cure.

President Andry Rajoelina said the WHO offered a bribe of $20 million for its herbal medicine to be poisoned.

Madagascar had announced that it developed a herbal cure for COVID-19 from Artemisia which can cure the disease in 10 days.

The President approved its use and also donated some of the herbal medicine to fellow African countries.

The WHO had issued a disclaimer that the medicine was not scientifically tested and thus could not be trusted.

In an interview with French Media however, President Rajoelina said the remedy was being doubted because it was not produced by a European country and accused the WHO of trying to discredit his country’s efforts.

“I think the problem is that (the drink) comes from Africa and they can’t admit… that a country like Madagascar… has come up with this formula to save the world.

If it wasn’t Madagascar, and if it was a European country that had actually discovered this remedy, would there be so much doubt? I don’t think so.
“What is the problem with Covid-Organics, really? Could it be that this product comes from Africa? Could it be that it’s not OK for a country like Madagascar, which is the 63rd poorest country in the world… to have come up with (this formula) that can help save the world?”

Rajoelina asked.

Rajoelina who is Africa’s youngest President insisted that no country or organisation will keep Madagascar from going forward in its fight against COVID-19.

Madagascar currently has 238 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 112 recoveries and 0 recorded deaths.
