A car driver was shot dead in the West Bank on Thursday, after attacking a group of Israeli soldiers with his car and injuring one, the Israeli army reported.

The attack occurred south-west of the city of Hebron.
According to initial investigations, the attacker had driven his car into a group of Israeli soldiers at high speed and hit one of them with his vehicle. Another soldier then shot the driver.
The injured soldier was brought into hospital.
On Wednesday, also close to Hebron, a 15-year-old Palestinian was killed in a clash with Israeli soldiers.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that he was killed by a gunshot wound to the head. Four other Palestinians were wounded.
