A newspaper in Madagascar has reported that 55 COVID-19 patients have recovered after using the herbal drug developed by scientists in Madagascar.
L’Express de Madagascar reported that three new recoveries were announced on Sunday after using the drug bottled as herbal tea.

This brought the total number of patients cured by the herbal drug to 55. The newspaper however failed to mention if the drug was combined with any other treatment.
“Treatment of (COVID-19) patients has been based” on the drug since it was introduced.
The same day that the CVO herbal tea was launched, two coronavirus patients who consumed it came out cured.
Until yesterday, fifty-five people have been declared cured since the adoption of CVO herbal tea treatment twenty days ago.”
The newspaper reported, adding that the herbal drug was being distributed freely in parts of the country to help in the efforts at containing the virus.
Madagascar has 193 COVID-19 cases out of which 103 have recovered with zero recorded deaths.
