Katsina State Government has announced that 37 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the State, bringing the total number to 75 on Monday.
This was disclosed by the Governor of Katsina State, Amin Masari, while briefing journalist in Katsina on Monday.
The governor also stated that 14 of the 37 new cases are health workers in various hospitals in the state, ten of which are working in the FMC while are working Private clinics.

As the number of COVID-19 infection continues to be on a rise in Nigeria, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 170 new cases, bringing the total figure to 2,558 on Sunday.
The NCDC disclosed this in its COVID-19 daily update on its official Twitter handle, stating also that 2 deaths were recorded, bringing the total fatalities to 87.
