The match between Nigeria and France may have come and gone, but the controversies the encounter generated are yet to douse.
Latest report on the match indicates that some Nigerian football fans attacked the wife of captain of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Joseph Yobo, over the performance of the skipper in the match.
It could be recalled that Yobo, who made his 100th cap on Monday, 30 June, 2014, scored an own goal late on in the Nigeria versus France match.
It was gathered that some football fans, who were pained over the defeat, took their anger out on his wife, Adaeze Yobo, calling her out on social media.
And instead of ignoring the jibes, Adaeze allegedly took to her instagram page to fire back at the many critics who she felt insulted her family and blamed her hubby for Super Eagles’ loss .
