12 COVID-19 Patients, including a Ukrainian, have been discharged from the Lagos State isolation centres on Thursday, bringing the total recovery figures to 199.
This was disclosed by the governor of the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on his verified Facebook page on Thursday.
Sanwo-Olu said;
“12 more persons; nine males and three females including a foreign national – a Ukrainian – have been discharged from our Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.
“The patients, six from our Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba; five from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital and one from Ibeju-Lekki were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings.
“This brings to 199 the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos.”
