A blogger, Kemi Olunloyo has been bashed on social media for insinuating the death of Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
The controversial blogger had suggested that Kanu might have gone to Italy, been exposed to the deadly COVID-19, died, and cremated.
Recall that Olunloyo made waves days ago when she tweeted that a high-ranking member of the Muhammadu Buhari presidency had died.
Many persons had touted Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, who contracted the virus few weeks back.
Although the lady declined to mention any names, she was praised endlessly after the presidency announced Kyari’s demise on Friday.
Taking to the same platform Tuesday evening, she tweeted:
#BREAKING Tomorrow I will tell you if IPOB Terror leader Nnamdi Kanu is DEAD⚰️ in Italy and cremated or being impersonated by a Double Nnamdi of Sudan. I'm the only credible Journalist for this🙄🇳🇬#Kemitalks

Recall that Kanu himself started the rumour that President Muhammadu Buhari has died and been replaced by an imposter he called Jubril al-Sudani.
Many supporters of the IPOB leader, however, took exception to Olunloyo’s insinuation and called her names for allegedly wishing Kanu dead.
She posted samples of the remarks she got from some of the supporters.
Exactly why are Biafrans calling me names like harlot, Ashawo etc because I can't verify that Nnamdi Kanu is dead. Your Disrespect is unacceptable. IPOB are so daft. Michael Jackson too tweeted when #COVID19 broke out. I will do the honor of announcing Kanu's death if I knew😠 https://t.co/oMRSUYiZRZ pic.twitter.com/VeSiYgtL2L

However, Olunloyo on Wednesday morning explained that she confirmed nothing untoward happened to the IPOB leader.
According to her, Kanu’s friends, including former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode confirmed that the UK-based separatist leader was well and kicking.
She tweeted:
#BREAKING After investigating all night, I am letting everyone know that Nnamdi Kanu is ALIVE and well. He was NEVER in Italy let alone hospitalized. I also spoke to close friends of Kanu including my brother @realFFK who confirmed the same and has spoken to Mazi Kanu #Kemitalks pic.twitter.com/sov6R0qQAh
