The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus across the world has risen above one million.
According to data statistics, the United States of America, China, Italy and Spain have the highest numbers of COVID-19 infection.
According to the most recent report by worldometer, the number of infection globally is 1, 001, 069, with about 51, 378 deaths and 210, 245 recovered cases.

The World Health organization has earlier expressed fear over the increasing number of coronavirus pandemic cases which is a few numbers to one million.
The Director General of WHO, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, expressed heavy concern as several countries have now been hit by the pandemic along with an increasing number of death toll globally.
Ghebreyesus said:
“As we enter the fourth month since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, I’m deeply concerned about the rapid escalation and global spread of infection,” he said.
“Over the past five weeks, we have witnessed a near exponential growth in the number of new cases reaching almost every country, territory and area,”
“RhenumberbI number of deaths has more than doubled in the past week. In the next few days, we will reach 1 million confirmed cases and 50,000 deaths.”
