U.S. President Donald Trump says he plans to phone Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the plummeting oil prices and the price war between Moscow and Saudi Arabia.
Trump, speaking on Fox News on Monday, said he expected other issues to also come up in the call.
“They both went crazy,” Trump said about Russia and Saudi Arabia.

Their dispute, coming on top of the coronavirus slowdown, is bringing down the global price of oil.
Trump has, however, said he does not want the oil and gas industry wiped out.
U.S. crude oil dropped below 20 dollars a barrel overnight, though it has since moved up slightly again.
Brent also dropped sharply.
Trump said he expected Russia to ask that the U.S. lift a variety of sanctions placed on it.
However, Trump declined to answer whether he would comply, insisting he has been tough on Moscow.
