Former Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins is set to replace Odion Ighalo who is on loan to Manchester United at Shanghai Shenhua.
According to reports, former Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo is set to leave the Chinese Super League (CSL), Shanghai Shenhua for Premier League giants Manchester United after making a great impression while on loan to the club.

Ighalo has four goals for the Red Devils and they want him to stay permanently.
Martins, who was previously contracted to Shenhua from 2016 until the end of the 2018 season, was reported by Titan Sports to have arrived in China on Tuesday and was being lined up to replace Ighalo ahead of the Chinese Super League season.
Ighalo was the one who replaced Martins back in 2018 when he signed for Shanghai Shenhua.
Speaking about Martins, Ighalo said: “Martins is my idol. I respect him very much. He has achieved great success in his career.
”When I knew that I had the opportunity to come to Shenhua, I sent a message to Martins, who told me that Shenhua is a very good club, Shenhua’s home and fans are very good.”
