The governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, has announced that he has taken Coronavirus test.
Fayemi disclosed that the test became imperative after his contact with two people with confirmed cases of COVID-19, an announcement that plunged the entire state into intense anxiety.
The governor, who announced this on his verified tweeter account also stated that he is now on self-isolation since Tuesday.

Abba Kyari, Chief of Staff to President Buhari has tested positive to the deadly COVID-19.
It would be recalled that Kyari travelled to Munich, Germany on March 7th to have a meeting with Siemens officials on the Nigeria electricity expansion project.
The President’s Chief of Staff also visited Egypt in the company of Executive Chairman of Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, Prof James Momoh.
Germany has recorded 29,056 infections and 123 deaths of Coronavirus while Egypt has 327 confirmed cases of Coronavirus and 14 deaths.
