The newly installed Emir of Kano has relocated to his palace after days of camping out at the Government House in Kano.
He was escorted to the palace by armed policemen, palace guards, and hundreds of well wishers.
The exodus from government house to the Palace began at 3:30 pm after he had led the Muslim Faithful in Juma’at at the State House.
Sanusiwas driven into the palace in one of the official vehicles of the Emirate and entered through newly constructed gate built in his honour in line with customs.
He said he was God’s appointed choice and called on those he had wronged in the past to forgive.
