BREAKING: Tyson Fury Beats Deontay Wilder

Deontay Wilder sits after barrage of blows from Tyson Fury

British boxer, Tyson Fury (30-0-1) has beaten his American counterpart, Deontay Wilder (42-1-1) to claim the WBC world heavyweight title.

American referee Kenny Bayless stopped the fight in the 7th round at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, after Wilder’s corner threw in the towel.

He declared the 31-year-old Gypsy King as the winner via TKO over the 34-year-old Bronze Bomber, who had not lost a professional fight before now.

Recall that the duo first slugged it out in December 2018, with the highly-anticipated encounter ending in a draw.

But on Sunday morning, Fury knocked down Wilder in the third and fifth rounds, and a bloodied, shaky Wilder was unable to fight back in the decisive seventh, forcing his corner to throw in the towel.
